Pokémon 30th
Celebration

The anniversary set built around nostalgia: Classic Collection reprints of the cards everyone grew up wanting, plus a Pikachu in every pack. Thirty years, thirty Pikachus — one Pikachu rare guaranteed per pack. This page names the chases; the live prices live in the free Finder, where they belong.

What the set is

30th Celebration is Pokémon's anniversary set, and it is aimed straight at memory. The Classic Collection brings back reprints of the cards everyone grew up wanting — the ones that sat in binders, got traded at recess, and started most of our collections. Layered over that is the set's signature structure: 30 different Pikachu rares, one guaranteed in every pack, so no rip ever comes up empty.

That structure changes how the set plays at the counter. A normal set is a lottery ticket; this one pays something back on every single pack while you chase the Classic Collection hits on top. It is the rare modern set a first-time buyer and a thirty-year collector can open side by side and both walk away happy.

The chase cards

Four names run this set. We don't print prices on this page — prices move daily, and stale numbers help nobody — so every chase links straight into the Best TCG Card Finder, where the live market price is one tap away, free.

Classic Collection Lugia

The reprint chase at the top of the set — the Lugia a generation of collectors wanted the first time around, back in packs again. Check its live price →

Classic Collection Charizard

The card that needs no introduction. The Classic Collection reprint is the pull everyone at the table is hoping to see. Check its live price →

Mew ex

The modern chase of the set — and the one to grade if you pull it clean. Centering is everything on anniversary full-arts, so check yours against the grading decision before it goes anywhere. Check its live price →

The 30 Pikachu rares

Thirty different Pikachu, one guaranteed per pack. The run builds itself pack by pack — and completing the thirty is its own chase. Browse them in the Finder →

Why collectors want this set

Anniversary sets age well because the buyer pool is everyone who ever opened a pack — not just current players. The Classic Collection reprints put Lugia and Charizard back in packs at pullable odds, and the 30-Pikachu structure (one per pack) makes even a single-pack rip feel like an event.

Rip strategy: the guaranteed Pikachu per pack means every rip pays something back — chase the Classic Collection hits, and let the Pikachu run build itself. And if you pull the Mew ex clean, run it through the Grade It or Skip It? decision before you decide what happens next.
