Best Sports/TCG Card Finder · Bounce & Grow LLC
Effective October 15, 2026
The Best Sports/TCG Card Finder helps you find trading cards, see real sold prices, and keep a virtual binder. This policy explains what information the app and website collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- Your profile (only if you create one). When you sign in with an email link, Google, or Apple, we receive your name and email address so your collection can follow you across devices. If you sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email," we only ever see Apple's private relay address.
- Your collection data. The cards you save, your binders and how you organize them, notes you add to cards, sets you mark complete, and any price alerts you set. This is stored so it is there when you come back.
- Email preferences. If you opt in to event updates, we keep that choice with your profile. Every update email carries a one-tap unsubscribe link.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which features people use, in aggregate. This includes usage data and device identifiers used for analytics only — it is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it is not used for advertising.
Camera and photos
Card scanning and card recognition happen on your device. We do not upload, store, or collect the photos or video from your camera for scanning. If you choose a photo from your library to identify a card, the same applies — the recognition runs on the device.
The Community Bank — and the BG Promise
The Finder can learn from its community. When you confirm a card the scanner got right, you may choose to bank that lesson for every collector. Banking is off unless you turn it on, and this is exactly what it means:
- Your photos stay on your phone. Always. The Bank only ever receives a fingerprint — 384 numbers that describe how a card looks. A fingerprint is not a photo and cannot be turned back into one.
- Nothing about you travels with it. No name, no account, no email, no binder. Contributions are counted under a random device code that is hashed before storage; we could not identify a contributor if we wanted to.
- No card joins the Bank until 3 different collectors confirm it, independently, with fingerprints that agree with each other. If two different printings end up with near-identical fingerprints, both are held out — the Bank never guesses between look-alikes.
- You can leave in one tap, anytime (in the scanner, under Community Bank) — and your own lessons keep working on your device either way.
- The Bank belongs to the collectors who built it. We will never sell it, never lock it behind a paywall, and never change these rules quietly — if the rules ever change, this page changes first, in the open.
That's the promise. Every collector who banks a card is family looking out for family — and Bounce & Grow keeps its word.
Subscriptions
Collector Pro subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to receive purchase confirmations from Apple so Pro can unlock on your profile and follow you across your devices; RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt and an identifier for your profile, nothing about your payment method.
Sharing features
If you use a share link for your profile or binder, anyone with that link can see the collection information you chose to share (your binder name, cards, and collection value). Share links never expose your email address or sign-in information.
Collector trading and messages (opt-in)
The Finder lets collectors find each other and trade — only if you turn it on. “Let collectors find me for trades” is off by default. While it is on, card pages show your display name, your completed-trade count, and which cards you own or are looking for. Your email address and sign-in link are never shown to other collectors, and turning the switch off removes you from card pages right away.
- Messages stay inside the app. Chats relay through our servers and are stored so conversations and trade records work. Messages that contain links, email addresses, phone numbers, or other apps' names are rejected — that rule exists to keep trading from being pulled off-platform.
- Only verified accounts can message. Guests and signed-out visitors can't send or receive messages — messaging requires a Bounce & Grow account signed in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or an email link. And you are always in control: turn Allow messages off in your profile at any time to stop new messages, including inside open chats, while keeping your cards and counts visible.
- Chat only opens with consent. A first “hello” must be accepted before either side can chat. You can block any collector at any time, which closes the chat and stops future hellos.
- Reports are reviewed by a human. If you report a conversation, the recent messages in it are sent to our team for review.
- Trades are recorded, never handled. The app records the cards both sides agreed to swap and both sides' confirmations, and shows each collector's completed-trade count. Bounce & Grow never takes payment, never holds cards, and is not part of the exchange itself — meet in a public place, like your local game store, and ship with tracking if you mail cards.
- Deleting your profile deletes your trading presence too — your counts, want list, discoverability, and inbox are removed. Messages you already sent remain visible inside the other collector's copy of that conversation, the same as most messaging apps.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal information.
- Show third-party ads or share your data with ad networks.
- Email you marketing messages unless you opted in — and you can opt out any time.
Your choices and deletion
You can delete your profile at any time from inside the app or website: open your Profile, scroll to Collection tools, and tap Delete my profile. Deleting erases your profile, binder, saved cards, and alerts from our servers. You can also email us at [email protected] and we will delete your data for you.
You can use the Finder without an account at all — searching, prices, and the card viewer work with no sign-in.
Children
The Finder is a general-audience collector tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and change the effective date above.
